Extra Virgin Olive Oil

The extra virgin olive oil IGP Toscano is a blend of the typical Tuscan Olive tree varieties: Frantoio, Moraiolo and Leccino. The olives are hand-picked by the family Marcelli on their fields, situated in the hills in the province of Arezzo. After the harvest, the olives are brought within a few hours to an oil mill to keep intact the characteristics of the olives and still have a healthy fruit. The oil is extracted by a modern continuous cycle oil mill, using only a mechanical method. The oil is filtered to remove impurities and particles of water and after is kept in steel tanks in an inert atmosphere to maintain his characteristic before bottling. Characterized by an intense herbaceous aroma, with vegetal notes reminiscent of artichokes, green tomatoes and fresh herb, with a small bitter and spicy note, typical of Tuscan oils.
